Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using Symzo, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
License to use Symzo
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Symzo on Apple devices that you own or control, subject to these terms and any applicable Apple terms.
Your content and backups
You retain ownership of the notes, tasks, reminders, and other content you create in Symzo. Because Symzo is local-first, you are responsible for protecting access to your devices and keeping any exported backups and recovery passwords safe. We cannot recover a lost recovery password or restore a deleted local vault for you.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse Symzo, interfere with its security or nearby-sync functionality, reverse engineer it except where applicable law allows, or use it in a way that violates law or the rights of others.
Availability and updates
We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of Symzo. Some features depend on your device, operating system, local network, Apple services, and permissions, so we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability of every feature.
Disclaimers and liability
Symzo is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. You should keep appropriate backups of important information. To the extent permitted by law, Symzo and its creators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Symzo after an update means you accept the updated terms.
